The National Association of REALTORS® has nine affiliated Institutes, Societies, and Councils that provide a wide range of programs and services that assist members in increasing skills, productivity and knowledge. Designations acknowledge experience and expertise in various real estate sectors and are awarded by each affiliated group upon completion of the required courses. In addition, N.A.R. offers two certification programs.

The ABR® designation is designed for REALTORS® who focus on buyer representation. With 40,000 members, REBAC is the largest of NAR’s Institutes, Societies, and Councils.
CRS®, Certified Residential Specialist
Council of Residential Specialists
The CRS® designation gives you in-depth knowledge about business planning, making listing presentations, negotiating and closing smoother transactions, working in the buyers’ and sellers’ best interest, and building a referral business. Currently, there are more than 30,000 CRS Designees.
GRI, Graduate REALTOR® Institute
National Association Of REALTORS®
REALTORS® with the GRI designation have in-depth training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards, and the sales process.

The e-PRO® designation proves to consumers that you use the most advanced real estate technology to provide exceptional service. N.A.R. was the first major trade group to offer certification for online professionalism.
